The technological convergence has chanced by making audiences enjoy the music video by being ale to watch it with quick access.

Simon Cowell and Syco has a huge impact in One Direction because they where the ones that started there whole career by joining them together from individual singers to a band during x factor.

  • 0:56 - the bands future self is shown to make the fans feel sentimental and know that there long journey is ending 
  • 2:26- fans cheering showing support and getting emotional shows a connection and rewards fans for there long commitment with the band
  • ending scene- where all the members split and go different directions showing the band is finally done with the band and pursuing life by themselves.

4) What is nostalgia and why is it a key audience pleasure for the History music video? 
Nostalgia is a sentimental longing or wistful affection for a period in the past. It is a key audience pleasure because the whole music video is designed on all their achievements they made in the past that got them to the place they are now from being individual people on x-factor to being a world famous group.

5) How are fans positioned to respond to the video? What do the producers want One Direction fans to take from the video? 
Fans are made to feel joyful and laugh along with the band as they are shown to be having a good time and messing around. However, near the end it shows clips of their last concert , them saying goodbye to signify that the music video is directed to their dedicated fans and their commitment to supporting their fans - which is rewarding to their fans who've been with them since the beginning of their journey.
