1) Which part of the course are you looking forward to most? Writing my own blog is what i am looking forward to most in this course.

2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media? The knowledge and skills I hope to learn in Media is to analyse a movie poster properly.

3) What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media (5-9)? Realistically I am hoping to achieve a grade 7 or above in Media.


4) What was the last TV programme or film you watched? The last film i watch was Naruto: Road To Ninja.

5) Why do you think that TV programme or film appealed to an audience? Why would an audience like it?  I think the TV programme is appealed to young adults and teenagers. An audience would like it because there is a lot of action and it can brighten up your day. Plus it has bits of comedy and some sad scenes that most people will know about if they have watched the show.

6) What technology have you used to access the media in the last 24 hours? (Radio, TV, phone etc.) I have used my phone and computer to access the media in the last 24hrs.

7) What device do you use most to access the media? I user my phone the most to access Media.

9) Why was the casting of Jodie Whittaker a significant moment in the history of Doctor Who? She is the first female doctor as the rest have been men.

10) What aspects of this scene do you think an audience might enjoy? List at least three things and explain why the audience would enjoy each aspect. The first scene is when the doctor is in panic about what in the world is going on in the laboratory. The second scene is when the doctor turns into a women and the third scene is when she presses the button and she starts twisting.

  Audience 1) Who is the target audience for Doctor Who? Has it changed since 1963? The target audience for Doctor Who was more male than female because they were mainly interested in the science genre which has changed since 1963 as more females enjoy science-fiction rather than males and the age was 12-65 and for mainly for a family audience is still the same as 1963.   1) What were the first videogames like? Videogames in the beginning were 2D and simple while not being complicated in order for families to access at home. They were less popular among people as they were new to the idea to gaming. 2) How have videogames changed over time? Over the years games have improved from their graphics to the storyline and game play. Everyone can access games if its at home or outside at an arcade, It has become a normal way to entertain yourself and many teens enjoy the idea of getting distracted by the games.  3) What do the most successful games have in common? Answer this in as much detail as you can. Think about audience pleasures - what do people like about playing videogames? The most successful games are thought out and attract a wide variety of audience. Entertainment/ diversity- the audience is able to be distracted from their everyday life. 1) What year was the advert produced?  The year the advert was produced in was 1955.               2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s?  Women in most 1950s adverts were presented as object and someone who is only suppose to please a man so they can be happy.
